Happy Friday from Venice!! Of course, I HAD to do a Friday Feature from Venice that was Venetian!!! I've had these beautiful Chrysocolla tumbled stones for a while now ...but I have kept them in the drawer until I found something worthy of them. And along came these beautiful Venetian Glass turquoise & gold hand-blown hearts. All Venetian Glass is special ...but I just loved how these worked so well in with the Chrysocolla ...both the same color-way and hues ...but a contrast of textures.
The heart itself, set in 14k gold filled has a clasp ...so you can keep it attached to the bracelet ...or even slide or clip it on a chain, even add it to other bracelets. Chrysocolla is a very earthy stone ...similar to Turquoise, but a little bit deeper blue-green hue ..with flecks of copper (which also happens to be very good for us). Venetian Glass tends to be a little bit more ethereal and lofty ...so the contrast between the two materials is a very nice mix. The heart itself also has flecks of gold, copper, white and shades of Turquoise ...so its a perfect complement, as well as a fab year-round charm that can be used in a myriad of ways. *These have to be made ...each Chrysocolla is hand-drilled & tumbled, and has to be carefully strung ...and the Venetian Glass Hearts all need to be set in 14k gold filled. Jessica will be doing that over the next few weeks. Please be patient as these are a little labor intensive.

Happy Friday!! Whenever I do a Limited Edition Nini Necklace, it is always always a popular Friday Feature. I imagine this one will be also. The "Nini's" are easily my most popular style. Universally well-liked, easy to wear, easy to layer, lightweight & comfortable, this style seems to seamlessly mix in with whatever is really "hot & trendy" in jewelry at the moment, but also outlast the trend ...as these have great longevity when taken care of!!
This beautiful Smoky Topaz (actually Smoky Quartz, but often called a Topaz) star in the center makes for a wonderful neutral going into fall ...along with the bronzy brown pearls hand-knotted all around. Smoky Topaz / Quartz is a a very grounding stone ...and often used to ward off stress. In our crazy lives that never seem to have enough time in the day, I pretty much want to build myself a little Smoky Topaz chamber I can park myself inside!! Can you imagine!!?? Until then, I'll just use my beautiful Smoky Topaz Nini ...as I really do see gemstones making energetic differences. I have Tourmaline & Amethyst in my PEMF mat ...and its a daily daily must for me!!! Amethyst & Smoky are very similar compounds with similar diffusing properties. Enjoy!!

Happy Friday!! It’s the heat of August here in Italy ..and doing my best to stay cool! Even though we are moving into the fall season soon ...the warmth still remains. This Friday Feature is one of those fab transition pieces that can take you straight from summer heat, sundresses, beachy vibes to the fall wardrobe ...which can start off similar, but maybe with an extra light layer for those nights that are cooling off. As you guys know, I LOVE pieces that can mix & match in with what you already have.
It is also a truly fabulous piece for traveling year round. With five different charms / pendants, and a really versatile multi-colored pavé carabiner attachment, this set can really go a long way. Tie charms on either end of the soft turquoise leather for a lariat or use your little charms with any another shorter chain as a complement. There are literally hundreds of combinations with this one ...take your pick!! Any way you can figure out to wear it is right. There is no wrong way. *This particular Turquoise leather was a happy accident. The die lot ended up being lighter and not so "bright turquoise-ey" ...so I grabbed two skeins up and that's all there is. This particular leather color is definitely Limited Edition!!
