Happy Friday!! It’s the heat of August here in Italy ..and doing my best to stay cool! Even though we are moving into the fall season soon ...the warmth still remains. This Friday Feature is one of those fab transition pieces that can take you straight from summer heat, sundresses, beachy vibes to the fall wardrobe ...which can start off similar, but maybe with an extra light layer for those nights that are cooling off. As you guys know, I LOVE pieces that can mix & match in with what you already have.
It is also a truly fabulous piece for traveling year round. With five different charms / pendants, and a really versatile multi-colored pavé carabiner attachment, this set can really go a long way. Tie charms on either end of the soft turquoise leather for a lariat or use your little charms with any another shorter chain as a complement. There are literally hundreds of combinations with this one ...take your pick!! Any way you can figure out to wear it is right. There is no wrong way. It is meant to be mixed right in with your other pieces ...or of course, you can leave it right as is!!
*This particular Turquoise leather was a happy accident. The die lot ended up being lighter and not so "bright turquoise-ey" ...so I grabbed two skeins up and that's all there is. This particular leather color is definitely Limited Edition!!

Happy Friday!! I always love various kinds of trade beads …from Sub-Saharan Africa, to Central and Southeast Asia, and South America. However, they actually originated in Murano, Italy …with very specific parameters …and a closely guarded secret on their fabrication. From mille-fiori to chevrons to various decorative shapes, the Venetian glass guild made their beads worthy of trade. Eventually, these migrated through the Silk Road throughout the east and south …and countries started adopting their own ways of making them. The Friday Feature bracelets are all glass trade beads ...from Central Asia, Ghana, and Southeast Asia.
Instead of making these a stackable set of three, I made these three separate product entries ...so you can grab only one, two, or all three ...whatever combo you would like to make. I love love love all of them. The two chevron sets will look very much the same bracelet to bracelet ...but do take note, each of the African beads are hand-made ...and will vary from bracelet to bracelet. They all have the same overall feel ...but will vary in colors and shapes. These larger African bead bracelets are one-of-a-kind and each one is unique..
