Hand-carved Mohave Eagle

Hand-carved Mohave Eagle

Sale Price:$48.00 Original Price:$60.00

Looooove these super cool hand-carved “Mohave” Eagle pendants. “Mohave” is an interesting material. One of my stone guys out west describes it like this…”We take all of our Turquoise that we have cut …along with Spiny Oyster, maybe some Pyrite, and we stabilize them together …because otherwise they would all go to waste. With all that recycling, the finished product ends up being what we call “Mohave” stone ….which can be any number of colors, depending on the stones that are used to recycle into it. SO …is Mohave natural stone ?? Yes, also no …but it is a marriage of natural stone and the creativity of gemstone cutters …who create a new way to highlight color through materials that may otherwise not be able to be used. It is stabilized, so it’s great to carve with and the color combinations are immensely fun …hence these great eagle pendants. I love these. SO much !!! 🩵

*Limited Edition …these fab Mohave Eagles are so fun as a statement piece, but also with little add-on personalized charms. Pair it with Navajo Pearls, leather, or a favorite chain …so much versatility.

Hand-carved Mohave in two colors …Turquoise Mohave & Purple Sugalite / Pyrite Mohave, measuring 1-1/4” x 1-1/4” in size. *Choose in drop menu.

Navajo Pearls - 3mm
from $108.80

Navajo Pearls …absolute staples if you have any interest in Turquoise or southwest collecting. I have sold every last Navajo set off my body at events …and I never seem to get to keep any! I did a post in the previous weeks about the various types of Navajo Pearls to get. There are 3 kinds (in general). 1. Completely hand-done, hand-finished, 2 Machine-made, hand-finished. 3. Machine-made, machine-finished. I use all three for various reasons …but I will say, #1 are incredibly expensive …and while I can source those, they are custom only because they are so pricey. These in the trunk show are the #2 variety. It keeps the cost down, (these are 1/4 the price of #1’s), and you still have a hand-finished Navajo element that we love about Navajo Pearls!!

*Limited Edition …pair these with your favorite statement Turquoise, Spiny, Lapis, Conch …or any silver pendants. You can even layer these in with other chains and charms.

Hand-finished (machine made) Navajo Pearls in the 3mm size measuring 16, 18” & 20” in length.
