Happy Friday !! Having just been away for a month, I can confidently say ...I truly LOVE this Friday Feature ...as I have it myself and use it every day. It is my main makeup case / travel kit! The large size, in fact, is currently sitting on my bathroom counter! The medium & small stores other less-often used things, but easy access. A lovely cotton lightweight print, this set doesn't add any extra weight while traveling, all while providing the perfect way to organize your favorite cosmetic-ey things for both home and travel.
I wanted to "product test" this one for durability ...and you guys know how much I travel. After some pretty good abuse for 6 months, each size is still going strong. A set of three (which nest into each other if you need to store it away), these make a perfect gift for the grad (that's coming up in May folks!!), and also a great way to organize for travel season ...which for normal people is summer!! 🤣 I LOVE these, and they make a very fun Friday Feature!! Happy Friday !! Well, this isn't the first time I've had to make up a Friday Feature on the fly ...but it IS the first time I've had to do it out of the country completely away from my business with no samples or products. We could not get back last week due to Snowpocalypse ..(or in my case, IceMageddon in Nashville). So I needed to design a piece ...worthy of Friday Feature status ...with only the materials I had here in Italy. I have been working on the Story Stack bracelets ...so I decided to pull from that palette and create a pair of every day go-to basic earrings, easy to wear, that could also be everything to all people, places & things!!
A good taupe neutral IS "all the things," ...and probably one of my go-to colors for my winter basics like sweaters and layers. I tend to go way more neutral in the winter since I like to boldly accessorize. These beautiful little Mother-of-Pearl carved shells are a wonderful companion to both a neutral palette ...and also bold choices. They will blend in even with the most out-there jewelry, as they are both subtle and complementary.
I had to add a leeeetle Tiger Eye stone for its metaphysical properties of grounding, lifting emotional spirits, and courage. I myself find that especially encouraging as the worry of my Nashville house in the middle of the ice storm without power continues to mount. We are the worst power outage in the country, and it pretty much looks like an ice-war-zone.
Please send some thoughts and prayers for the people in Nashville without power. Especially for the homeless to find shelter, and for the infrastructure to hold.

Happy Friday. I'm currently in Italy trying to work on some long-needed projects in the house here. Italy is not only one of the most beautiful countries in the world, it also has some of the most beautiful art, fabrication & products. They are incredibly refined on their various craftsmanship, and a level up on the what they produce.
I have done a few Venetian Glass Friday Features & Trunk Show limited editions previously, but I always have new people ...so I wanted to encore the Venetian Glass Crosses. Holy Octopus Cuteness Batman!! I mean, I can’t even!! 🤣 Does this little guy even need a description?? Adorable, hand-done blown glass, I just love these. I have a charm necklace going with just animals …and this little guy is getting added for sure. Of course, these are adorable enough to just wear on a simple chain with a little pearl accent …however you want to style them …go for it. These are always too cute no matter what!
