I grabbed this antique charm in Istanbul …and it has me a little stumped as to its actual history. It's reminiscent of the antique Victorian hand charms …but also a little like the Italian Figas …but it's really neither of those. In fact, it's a little closer to a Hamsa, which makes a little more since being closer to the Middle East. A beautiful Turquoise color and a perfect size to add to any charm necklace, this is a mix of east meets west …very often like many things I find in Istanbul to be!!
